Rsa Poggione

This new complex near Grosseto is inspired by the idea of reconnecting individuals with the surrounding environment. The resulting building is filled with natural light, where spatial layout creates perspective views that look out onto natural landscapes or across the Grosseto plain. The selection of materials and finishes, many of which were custom-crafted for this project, aims to provide a hospitality-grade quality of life while seamlessly integrating and concealing medical apparatus. The facility features an assisted living facility (RSA), specialized care units, and an innovative Alzheimer’s day center designed as a miniature Tuscan square, where therapeutic tools are cleverly reimagined as familiar, real-world spots like a flower shop, a café, and a train carriage.
